Manchester United fans will already be looking forward to next season thanks to changes at Old Trafford.

It was a disappointing campaign for the Red Devils, with Ole Gunner Solskjaer and then Ralf Rangnick struggling.

But it’s time for a new era, and Erik ten Hag is already at work, linking up with United early in a bid to get a fast start.

And with that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours.

Torres talks

United are being backed to pull off a deal to sign Villarreal star Pau Torres.

The Spain international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in the past, and he rejected a move to Tottenham last summer to fulfil his wish of playing for his hometown club in the Champions League.

Torres is much more likely to move this summer, and Cadena Ser say he would prefer a move to Old Trafford, with talks ongoing over a €50million (£42.6million) deal.

Lingard negotiations

West Ham are now said to have started talks with United midfielder Jesse Lingard.

Lingard is out of contract at Old Trafford this summer, and he will move on in a bid to secure more regular playing opportunities.

A return to the Hammers, where he spent the second half of last season on loan, looks likely, and ESPN claim the London club have now officially started talks over a free transfer.

Fernandez battle

United are reportedly pushing for a deal to sign River Plate midfielder Enzo Fernandez.

According to Record and A Bola, via SportWitness, the Red Devils are chasing a deal this summer, going up against Benfica.

Benfica are said to have sent officials to Argentina in a bid to land a deal for less than the player’s €20million (£17million) release clause.

But United’s presence is only going to convince River Plate to hold out, and that could be good news for ten Hag if he wants to pull off the deal.
