Manchester United welcome Real Sociedad to Old Trafford on Thursday in their opening Europa League group-stage game.
The Red Devils have been in fine form of late, winning their last four league games, including a 3-1 win over table toppers Arsenal on Sunday.

Erik ten Hag’s side have conceded just two goals in their last four matches, while being equally as impressive in front of goal, scoring seven.
As for Sociedad, they come into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid. The results leave them ninth in La Liga after four league matches.


The White and Blues were eliminated from the competition in the knockout play-offs stage last season.

United made one change to their starting XI against Arsenal with Antony replacing Anthony Elanga. The former scored his and the Red Devils’ first goal of the game.
Ten Hag’s side have a busy schedule beginning with the visit of Sociedad on Thursday. They then have three more games in the space of 10 days, meaning it’s likely the Dutchman will rotate his squad in this period.
