Adrien Rabiot has signed a new contract at Juventus so Erik ten Hag may make a move for a Lazio star Red Devils fans will be familiar with.

Manchester United fan frustrations are running high as The Glazers continue to stall the takeover process.

Supporters gathered outside the club megastore today as next season's kit was launched to protest against the owners with any takeover deal looking unlikely to pass before the start of the Premier League season.

There are worries the drawn-out process is having a knock-on effect on Erik ten Hag's transfer plans and these are the latest rumours from the club.

Man Utd finally 'coming for' long-term target

Manchester United are ready to make a decisive move for long-term transfer target Sergej Milinković-Savić.

The midfielder has been linked with a move to Old Trafford from Lazio in years gone by but nothing has ever come of the rumours with the Italian side not willing to sell the star.

Now, Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Erik ten Hag is 'coming for' the star having missed out on Juventus man Adrien Rabiot.

Milinković-Savić has just one year left on his Lazio contract which could leave the club wanting to cash in this summer before allowing the 28-year-old to leave on a free when his contract expires next year.

Man Utd negotiations with David de Gea even more complicated than thought

The David de Gea contract saga at Old Trafford is perhaps even more complicated than first thought.

The Spanish shot-stopper's Manchester United contract expires this summer and, although there have been calls to axe the star from his number one role, the 32-year-old's departure would leave Erik ten Hag with a problem between the sticks given that Dean Henderson also expected to move on.

That conundrum has been the source of transfer rumours for some of Europe's top keepers but there has always been the possibility that de Gea stays at the club.

However, according to The Athletic, those complicated negotiations became even more fractured when de Gea backed out of a contract extension having already agreed terms with the club earlier this summer.

United have now offered the star another deal, but it is with a lower wage than the initial agreement.
