Here's the latest transfer news from Manchester United at the start of this week.
Erik ten Hag secures first Man Utd summer transfer
Erik ten Hag has pushed the first piece of Manchester United summer transfer business over the line with Watford wonderkid Harry Amass agreeing a move to Old Trafford.

Watford are believed to have been desperate to keep the rising star and offered him a two-year professional contract, but the defender is set to choose to work his way up through the Manchester United academy.
Xavi Simons release clause news emerges
Manchester United target Xavi Simons has a release clause in his PSV Eindhoven contract that will favour French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Simons joined PSV from PSG in 2022 and now the Shields Gazette reports that the French club were wise enough to put in a £5.1 million buyback clause in the talisman's contract that ends this summer.
That means that PSG look to be favourites to snap up the star as PSV will have to let their young talent speak with the club if that offer comes in.
Manchester United could rival PSG for Simons but would likely be forking out nearer his £30 million valuation than the cut price figure available for the French side.
