A brand new unique go-karting experience has recently launched in Manchester.

Chaos Karts is a virtual-reality activity which will have friends and family battling it out in go-karts to see who can score the most points and walk away victorious.

It is the UK’s first live-action video game experience that combines real-life racing with augmented reality in an indoor arena where players can immerse themselves in a digitally projected world.

Located in Spinningfields just next door to the Science and Industry Museum, the one-of-a-kind immersive experience is another addition to Manchester's thriving entertainment scene.

Race your friends on several themed tracks, picking up bombs and various weapons to try and sabotage the other players, and make sure you pick up gems to build your score and win the game.

We got to try it out for our video report.
