DNA VR has launched on Brown Street near the Stock Exchange Hotel and the Arndale Centre and is a perfect spot for a night of virtual reality fun, where you can work as a team or face off against your friends in a selection of over 50 thrilling games.

The award-winning virtual reality specialists opened the doors of its first venue outside of London on March 22, and now Manchester locals can experience the immersive world of VR gaming for themselves.

There is room for groups of up to 10 people to take on the virtual world in rooms containing three or four headsets, which means you can play solo or with a party. The free-roam room allows you and three others to use all the space and take on larger worlds, including one containing the living dead. Zombies will try to defeat you and your team, and thanks to the excellent immersion of a VR headset, it can feel all-too real!

We were lucky enough to be invited down on opening night to try out three different games - including Elven Assassin, where we teamed up to take on orcs attacking the town, and the Zombie shoot-em-up Arizona Sunshine. All three games were fantastic, and there's no doubt we will be heading back to DNA VR soon to try out one of their many escape rooms and get involved in more virtual reality gaming.
