Manchester to be home to UK’s first ever live action digital go-karting experience

Fans of Mario Kart are about to be able to get live-action experiences of the popular video game. Manchester will soon be home to the UK’s first ever live-action go-karting video game experience.
The experience will transport you inside a real-life video game to race-battle their friends, family, rivals and colleagues. The name of this brand new adventure is Chaos Karts and it will send you into a world where go-karting meets augmented reality.

Hide AdThe game has no physical obstacles on the track and anti-collision technology, helmets and driving suits are not required. Ensuring Chaos Karts is an unrivalled, fun-fuelled experience for everyone aged 9 and above. Using unmatched, state-of-the-art technology, the karts will be kitted out with features to produce real life sensations and reactions that will immerse competitors fully into the high- energy thrill ride.
Each race varies in design, complete with pumping music and ground- breaking in-game usable in-kart power-ups with weapons that will allow players to ‘battle’ right up to the finishing line.
The experience opens from September 1 and will be moving into Studio 1, Old Granada Studios in Manchester. If you fancy a bit of this, then you can head to the Chaos Karts website and buy tickets from £15.
