'We need to do it' - Bruno Fernandes repeats Manchester United demand after Arsenal win
Bruno Fernandes urged his Manchester United teammates to back up two impressive away performances with a strong showing against Southampton in the Premier League on Thursday night.
United followed up their impressive 2-2 draw away against Liverpool with an even better display as they held on with 10-men to eventually defeat Arsenal on penalties in the FA Cup third round on Sunday. Altay Bayindir saved spot-kicks from Martin Odegaard in regular time and Kai Havertz in the shootout, as United scored all five of their from 12-yards out.

Hide AdIt felt like another statement performance from Ruben Amorim's side after what had been a difficult start under their new head coach, though the real acid test will come when they host the Premier League's bottom side at Old Trafford later this week.
Fernandes admits United had no trouble finding motivation for away trips to traditional rivals Liverpool and Arsenal but might find it harder to find inspiration when they return to the field in a match they will be heavy favourites to win.
"I know we want to celebrate and everything but our focus is now Southampton, that is when we have to back it up. The big games against Liverpool, Arsenal, everyone steps up because it's a big game. You want to be in these kinds of games, you want to be involved, you want to be the best but we have to do it in Old Trafford with these fans again. We have to give it back for the club. We need to do it every week, every game."
