Erik ten Hag is set to rotate his Manchester United squad for Thursday’s Europa League clash with Real Sociedad, according to a report.
The Red Devils boss has made just one change across his last four line-ups, that being the introduction of Antony for the weekend win over Arsenal.

Those four games have seen United pick up all 12 available points, and the Mirror claim Ten Hag is set to make midweek changes in order to keep his side fresh for Sunday’s trip to Crystal Palace.
“Ten Hag wants to give a rest to the likes of Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane and Tyrell Malacia,” the outlet reports.
They add Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof will start at centre-back against Sociedad, with Luke Shaw set to come in at left-back, as United shuffle the pack.

Fred and Casemiro are also set to start in midfield, which would see the latter start his first game since signing from Real Madrid this summer.

Antony Elanga and Antony will be selected in the wide areas, while Cristinao Ronaldo is expected to start up front for the visit of the Spanish side.
The report in the Mirror names eight of the 11 supposed starters, with Martin Dubravka and Aaron Wan-Bissaka possibilities to play, although Wan-Bissaka did miss the weekend win over Arsenal through injury.

Donny van de Beek is in a similar boat, but, should he regain fitness in time, is likely to start on Thursday. If he misses out, Bruno Fernandes could continue in an attacking midfield role.
United face Sociedad at Old Trafford in their Europa League opener, and have been drawn in a relatively kind group alongside Moldovian side Sheriff and Omonia Nicosia of Cyprus.

Ten Hag may see the competition as a chance to rest players for the Premier League, especially with a condensed group stage this term which will see United play Europa League in six of the next nine weeks.
The final game of the group stage will be played on 3 November when United travel to Sociedad.
