Manchester City and Manchester United’s Premier League fixtures have been confirmed ahead of the new season.

Premier League fixture release day is upon us, and Manchester City and Manchester United already know who they will face and when.

The Premier League ended just a couple of weeks ago, but fans will already be getting excited about the new campaign and the twists and turns that lie ahead. City fans will be intrigued to see how their side follow up the ultra-high standards set during the campaign just gone, with Pep Guardiola’s men winning the famous treble.

Meanwhile, United fans will want to know whether Erik ten Hag can lead his men to another step forward, and whether he can tuen his squad into one capable of challenging for the title after finishing in third place last season.

Before all that comes a pre-season, plenty of transfers and today’s fixture release, with the Premier League laying out all the provisional dates for the next season’s games, although City and United fans will know all too well that fixtures are subject to change due to TV selections and European competition - something to be aware of when booking any accomodation or travel in advance.

Man City will start their season away to newly promoted Burnley, kicking off the campaign against a familiar face, with Vincent Kompany in charge of the Clarets. Their first home clash will be against Newcastle United. City finish the season at home to West Ham United, and Boxing Day will see them take on Everton away.

United start the season against Wolves at home, before taking on Tottenham away. They will finish the season away to Brighton, taking on Aston Villa at home on Boxing Day. The Manchester derbies will take place on October 28 at Old Trafford and on March 2 at the Etihad Stadium.
