Manchester United have faced challenges on and off the pitch in recent months - and their interim manager, Ralf Rangnick, is at a pivotal point in the season with the transfer window.

Hide AdAccording to the Mirror, up to 11 players may want to leave the club, amid reports of a ‘bad atmosphere’ behind the scenes.
However, the Daily Mail has suggested that up to 17 of United’ first-team players are unhappy and could be interested in a move away before the start of the 2022/23 season.
While that seems unlikely to pan out in one fell swoop, any clear-outs in the dressing room could present an opportunity for fresh blood for Rangnick. The Times has reported that the German has been told by the Glazers that he will be backed in the market if he wishes to make signings.

Who are the players expected to leave Man Utd?
Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard are both on contracts due to run out in June. The pair could leave on free transfers, which would be a huge financial blow for United.
Former England defender Phil Jones has been linked with Benfica, despite the 30-year-old playing for the first time in two years during United’s defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday.

Hide AdMany players look likely to stay over the January transfer period but are reported to be hopeful of leaving the club at the end of the 2021/22 season.
Edinson Cavani will be a free agent in the summer, as will Juan Mata and both have reportedly been instructed to wait until the end of the season before making any definitive moves.
The Daily Mail has also claim Donny van de Beek, Dean Henderson and Eric Bailly are all currently unhappy due to the lack of playing time they have been given and would be open to moving in the summer transfer season.

Hide AdYoung defender Axel Tuanzebe is apparently close to a loan move to Napoli which would provide the Red Devils. The Daily Mail has reported the Serie A club agreed to pay a loan worth £500,000 to United and a further £333,000 if Napoli reaches the Champions League.
There may also be a chance of a further £165,000 paid to Tuanzebe if the defender makes a certain number of appearances, cutting short his time at Aston Villa to head to Naples.
Where is Anthony Martial going?
There have been many rumours circulating about the French striker and his potential move away from United but the French news outlet Le 10 Sport has suggested that his departure from the Red Devils is ‘far from being done.’

Martial is said to earn €9m per season at the Red Devils, and although Sevilla are not ‘offering a great deal of support’ with regards to paying the Frenchman’s wages, Martial is ‘going nowhere’.
The attackers’s salary is at the ‘heart of the last discussions’ according to Le 10 Sport and is apparently the reason the transfer hasn’t been completed as yet.

Hide AdWho does Ralf Rangnick want to sign?
Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves is top of Rangnick’s list to sign in this month’s transfer window, according to The Sun.
The 24-year-old still has two years left on his contract with Wolves but could be tempted by his desire to play in the Champions League.
The reports by SunSport suggest that United may make an offer of £35million in a bid for the Portuguese international, but Wolves are believed to be holding out for an offer of over £40m.

Hide AdUnited are not the first club to have expressed interest in the midfielder, with Arsenal having been linked to the player in the past, but the Sun claim that the Red Devils are ‘determined’ to sign the former Porto man.
Amadou Haidara, is another who is reportedly on Rangnick’s shopping list.
In what could be a deal worth £33million, Rangnick’s signing of the Malian midfielder would signal a huge backing of support from the Glazers and highlight both parties’ intent to work together.

With regard to Haidara’s rumoured move, @James MarkZahra1 tweeted: “We need proper animal CDM like kessie from Milan. Tchoumeni from Monaco. That can make the whole team better and Pogba can be the proper Pogba that we see with France or with juve at the old days. We don’t need anymore box to box players.”
Hopeful of Neve’s move, @PhilipJConteh1 has tweeted: “Please Man Utd club owners, let’s act fast in the transfer market to buy player and improve the team. The team is weak. Please do something now.”
@CheckjoshFF tweeted “Neves is good but don’t compare him to Declan Rice.”
