And United are believed to be closing in on a deal, with a £14million agreement on the table, as per The Mirror.

Martinez decision

Ten Hag has reportedly decided on his priority defendsive recruit.

The likes of Pau Torres and Matthijs de Ligt have been linked with a move to Old Trafford, but according to 90min, Ten Hag has decided Lisandro Martinez is the man he wants.

The Ajax star is also said to be a target of Arsenal’s, but Ten Hag will have the advantage of having worked with the Argentine previously.

De Jong latest

United have already agreed a deal for Frenkie de Jong, but we have not heard much over the deal’s progress in recent days.

The Express speculate De Jong could be announced alongside the release of the new home shirt next Friday.
