Ralf Rangnick’s men are still in with a chance of securing Europa League football, but West Ham now hold the advantage in the race for sixth.

But as we wait for the end of the season to play out, let’s take a look at all the latest United transfer news and rumours.

De Jong chance

United’s links with Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong will not go away.

The midfielder has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou ahead of this summer as Xavi Hernandez looks to put his stamp on the squad.

And reports from Gerard Romero have claimed United could land de Jong for a reduced price of £51million this summer.

De Jong unhappy

Amid reports than de Jong could be shipped out of Camp Nou this summer, it has also been reported that the Dutchman is unhappy with the situation.

De Jong is said to be enjoying life at the Camp Nou, and he does not want to leave the club in the near future.

Reporter Helena Condis Edo says the Dutchman is ‘bothered’ by the situation, still believing he can win at Barca.

Nkuku race

United are rumoured to be battling Chelsea for the signing of RB Leipzig striker Christopher Nkunku.

According to L’Equipe, Leipzig are hoping to land as much as £100million for Nkuku, who has scored 34 times this season.

AC Milan and Barcelona have also been linked, but United are credited with an interest, and they do indeed need a striker amid the impending exit of Edinson Cavani.
