United’s interim manager Ralf Rangnick will remain at Old Trafford at the end of the campaign. The German is taking up a consultancy role with the Red Devils.
The pair will work together on player recruitment and try to rebuild an underperforming United squad.
However, the 63-year-old won’t have his full focus on the Red Devils with Rangnick recently being appointed the manager of Austria.
