With the first month of the transfer window nearly complete, Manchester United have finally broken the ice on their incoming business.

Ronaldo offered to Barca
United talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has been offered to Barcelona by his agent Jorge Mendes, according to a report from AS.
The Portuguese icon has made headlines in recent days amid claims that he wants to leave Old Trafford this summer, and a sensational return to La Liga could be on the cards.

Ronaldo, of course, spent a significant portion of his career at Barca’s El Classico rivals Real Madrid, but despite his prior affiliations, it is suggested that talks between Mendes and Camp Nou chief Joan Laporta have already taken place, with a possible transfer firmly “on the table”.
For the Catalans, any potential deal could represent an alternative to their protracted pursuit of Robert Lewandowski, with claims that negotiations between themselves and Bayern Munich are continuing to stall.
Chelsea, Roma, Napoli, and Bayern themselves are also being touted as potential suitors for Ronaldo.

United target Ben Yedder
United could be set to challenge Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers for the signature of Monaco forward Wissam Ben Yedder this summer.

According to an update from Media Foot Marseille, the 31-year-old is facing an uncertain future in France, but has no shortage of admirers, especially in England.

It is understood that Wolves hold a “concrete” interest in the player, and have been monitoring his situation “very closely” in recent times.
But the Red Devils are also said to be monitoring the experienced star, and are keeping him “on the shelf” as an option as they look to bolster their forward line.
Dumfries in demand

United and rivals Chelsea have both “tested the ground” ahead of potential moves for Inter Milan full-back Denzel Dumfries, according to Italian outlet Sport Media Set.
The Red Devils have been linked with the Dutchman on multiple occasions already this summer, but could face stiff competition from the Blues, as well as Bayern Munich, who are also being touted for a potential swoop.
Complications could also arise from Inter’s valuation of the player, with the report suggesting that the Serie A side will refuse to part with the 26-year-old for anything less than £25.8 million.
