He arrived at Carrington on Monday morning for the second part of his medical and is expected to complete his signing after that.

International players are back

United’s international players have returned to pre-season training, a week later than the rest of the squad.

Those involved in June’s international fixtures were given extra time off by the club in order to rest and recover ahead of what will be a gruelling 2022/23 campaign

The likes of Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, Diogo Dalot, Alex Telles, Bruno Fernandes, Fred and Scott McTominay are expected to return, although the club have given no specifics on who was at Carrington.
