Head to head record

Manchester United and F.C Copenhagen are meeting in Europe for the fourth time in their history and it is the first game between the two sides in Europe’s elite competition in 17 years. The Red Devils recorded a 3-0 home victory against the Danish outfit in October 2006 with Paul Scholes, John O’Shea and Kieran Richardson getting the goals for Alex Ferguson’s side.

The reverse encounter in November proved to be much and a weakened team fell to a 1-0 defeat against Copenhagen in the Danish capital. The most recent meeting between the two teams came in a one leg Europa League quarter-final in 2020 and a late Bruno Fernandes penalty proved to be the difference in extra time as Manchester United progressed to the semi-final.
