Sancho has now expressed his delight to be working with Ronaldo at Old Trafford, admitting he was ‘stunned’ when the all-time leading goalscorer came into the Red Devils dressing room.
“It’s great to play next to what people call the G.O.A.T [greatest of all time],” the United no.25 told Football Focus.
“It’s actually kind of crazy. When he first came into the dressing room I was stunned, I couldn’t believe I was going to be playing alongside him.

“For the younger players he’s making us learn new things in terms of what to do and how to do things to make it better, and I really appreciate him for that. He’s a great guy overall.”
Sancho was asked to go into more detail as to what Ronaldo has advised him to do in training and matches.
The Englishman added: “The movement on how to beat a player, being in the right positions when the midfield have the ball and being aware of what’s going on, because he’s been in the game so long, he has that experience.
“He’s just a magician.”
Ronaldo re-joined the Red Devils this summer from Juventus after a 12-year absence. The 37-year-old is the club’s current top scorer this season with 15 goals in all competitions.
