The 36-times capped France star has enjoyed a productive spell with the Turin giants after joining them on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in 2019, helping Juve claim the Serie A title, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italia over the last three seasons.

Rabiot remains an integral part of Max Allegri’s side after scoring 11 goals and providing four assists in 44 appearances in all competitions so far this season - although Juve have endured something of a difficult campaign after Napoli romped clear to claim the Serie A title for the first time since the days of Diego Maradona.

Juve can still claim silverware as they prepare for the second leg of their Europa League semi-final against Sevilla after the two sides battled to a 1-1 draw in their first meeting at the Allianz Arena last week. Qualifying for next season’s Champions League, whether through their league position or a Europa League Final win, would ‘crucial’ for Rabiot as he approaches the final months of his current deal with Juventus.

He told DAZN: “I wanna play Champions League, it will be a crucial point to make a decision on my future. New deal with Juventus? There are no recent talks but we’ve time to do that, there’s no news at this stage. At this moment I feel good, but I don’t know what’s going to happen. The important thing is to give 100 per cent, then we’ll see what happens. I’ll talk to the club, but right now there are more important things to think about.”

Rabiot will be in the Juve squad that will travel to Sevilla on Thursday looking to reach their first major European final since they were beaten by Real Madrid in the Champions League Final in 2017.
