It’s been a mixed bag this week in Greater Manchester on the weather front, with showers interspersed with some warm and dry conditions.
Thousands of gig goers will be hoping for dry days this weekend, when they head to the Etihad, Emirates Old Trafford and Heaton Park for a mega weekend of outdoor gigs with Ed Sheeran, the Killers and Parklife music festival respectively.

Friday 10 June
Today is expected to warm and pleasant all day, with temperatures peaking at 20C-21C later this afternoon according to the Met Office.
There will be a mix of bright sunshine and some patchy cloud, with limited chance of rain.
Saturday 11 June

Hide AdA warm start to the day is expected with sunny spells in the morning but the chance of showers around 10am and it will feel a breezier than the day before.
Expect cloudy conditions over lunchtime and then some more showers are expected between 2pm-5pm. Temperatures are expected to get up to 18C in the afternoon with showers easing into the evening.
Sunday 12 June
Sunday will begin on a cloudy note, but sunshine is expected to break through in intervals from mid-morning onwards.
It will be a drier day than Saturday but still feel quite breezy in places and temperatures will peak at 17C in late afternoon and remain fairly warm into the evening.
Cloud cover will move over on Sunday night into Monday morning.
