The former Love Island couple named their daughter ‘Bambi Fury’ after the disney character.

Molly-Mae continued: “I think because we’d always known that our first baby girl was gonna be called Bambi. We had gotten so used to the idea of that being her name and to us it wasn’t unusual anymore and I know it is definitely unusual and unique and not gonna be to everyone’s taste.

“So when we announced it in my mind I was just like awww it’s just this beautiful… she was like…  that was just her.. She’s Bambi and that’s just a beautiful name and it’s amazing amazing and then like two seconds after posting it I was like oh my god.”

Molly-Mae continued to discuss the last few weeks of becoming a first time mum including her birth story in the 35 minute long vlog that has been viewed over 976,000 times.

Many people took to social media to comment on the baby’s name including TV personality Kerry Katona.

In an Instagram clip Kerry said Molly-Mae should ‘change the name’ so that her daughter doesn’t get bullied at school for having such a unique and different name.

Kerry has since apologised, saying: "Bambi Fury is a great name! Since I said it, it’s really, really, really played on my mind. I would never want to bring anybody down.

“I would never want to bully anybody or hurt anybody. I’m not that kind of person in the slightest. Sometimes I’ll say something that I think is funny and it actually isn’t.”
