Nile Rodgers & Chic have announced two huge end of summer UK shows, including one in Manchester.

The shows are known as ‘The End of Summer Party’ and will both take place in September.

Nile Rodgers & Chic are due to play at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on 21 September 2022.

This is two days after the first show at the O2 Academy in Brixton, London.

When do presale tickets go on sale?

Presale tickets will be made available through Live Nation from 10am on Thursday, 4 August.

Tickets for the show at the O2 Victoria Warehouse go on general sale at 10am on Friday, 5 August 2022.

These will be available through Live Nation.

What has Nile Rodgers said about the gigs?

Nile gave a statement following the announcement of the show dates in which he said the group want to get the Lionesses, fresh from their European Championship win at Wembley, up on stage.

Nile Rodgers said: “After the blues of Covid-19 we’ve had an incredible summer in the UK getting up front and close with all of our incredible fans.

“What better way to celebrate the last day of summer and the first day of autumn than with our final UK shows of the year at Brixton and Manchester.

“We want to invite all the Lionesses who’ve made the whole country so proud to get up on stage for what will truly be Good Times!”
