Lytham Festival 2022: dates, who is performing in Lancashire - and how to get to the festival from Manchester

Some of the biggest names in music will soon descend on Lancashire for the two week Lytham Festival.

Taking place across 10 huge days of music, the festival is the latest instalment of what is set to be a huge summer of music in the North West of England.

Ahead of the festival getting underway. Here’s all you need to know about the festival, including how to get tickets and how to get there from Manchester.

When is Lytham Festival 2022?

Lytham Festival 2022 gets underway on 28 June and runs until 10 July.

It takes place in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, on a piece of grass between the town’s coastal road and the River Ribble estuary.

Who is performing at the festival?

Big names are set to take to the stage across each day of the festival, with headliners including Diana Ross, Duran Duran, Lewis Capaldi, Paul Weller and The Strokes to name just a few.

Each of these acts takes centre stage for a night of the festival.

Can I get tickets?

Tickets for Lytham Festival 2022 are available for one , two or five nights in various packages.

Prices vary depending on which act you would like to see, for example if it costs just over £50 for a ticket to Lewis Capaldi and £61 for Snow Patrol tickets.

Tickets for ‘The Garden’ VIP section of the arena are also available for all days of the festival.

There are also five day passes which are available for the first and last five days of the festival.

These tickets start at £260.

How can I get to the festival from Manchester?

The festival takes place in Lytham St Annes, a town located on the Fylde Coast to the south of Blackpool.

Getting to the festival from Manchester isn’t too difficult, and here is information you need to know if you are looking to head to the festival via car, bus, or train.

Bus

The nearest stations to Lytham Festival are:

• Square (Stand 3) is 352 meters away, 5 min walk.
• Square (Stand 1) is 356 meters away, 6 min walk.
• Lytham is 706 meters away, 10 min walk.
• Brookfield Terrace is 915 meters away, 13 min walk.

Train

Lytham Train Station is a five minute walk from the festival grounds, and is less than 90 minutes on the train from Manchester Piccadilly.

You’ll need to change at Preston, and both trains are operated by Northern.

Car

By car, Manchester to Lytham St Anne’s is roughly an hour’s drive. Heading north on the M61, motorists will then turn off towards the Fylde Coast on the M55 towards Blackpool before heading south.

Car Parking

Parking is available at the festival, and a festival spokesperson said: “Lytham Festival car parking is located directly next to the festival on Lytham Green. The car parking can be pre-booked HERE

“We would suggest pre-booking car parking to avoid disappointment as cars will be parked in arrival order.

“Please note cars are not permitted to stay overnight. Motorhomes are not permitted.”
