Little Mix are gearing up to perform at Manchester’s, AO Arena.

Their latest tour is labelled ‘The Confetti Tour’ and is in aid of their latest studio album, ‘Between Us’.

The band hit the headlines in 2020 as it was announced that original band member, Jesy Nelson was leaving the band, and pursuing a solo career.

When are Little Mix performing in Manchester?

Little Mix are set to perform three shows in Manchester.

The band will play on May 6, and May 7, with their second of three shows being a matinee performance on May 7.

Little Mix pre-Jesy Nelson exit  played at the One Love Manchester concert alongside the likes of Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber in 2017.

The benefit concert was televised live on June 4 2017, and was held in response to the bombing after Grande’s concert at Manchester Arena two weeks prior, and was held at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

Little Mix still have the rounds to do as their Manchester performance isn’t until May.

The trio will head to Belfast, Newcastle, Liverpool, Sheffield, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds and Cardiff before Manchester.

How do I get tickets?

Despite their showing being some weeks away, tickets for their first Manchester performance are classed as ‘low availability’, with the cheapest tickets being resales, priced at £53 each, and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.

For their matinee performance on May 7, tickets are still available too, with the cheapest costing £35.55

Tickets for their last show in Manchester are on low availability, and the cheapest tickets are resales, currently costing £80.41.

Who are Little Mix?

Little Mix are an English girl band, who currently consist of Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh Anne-Pinnock. The now-trio used to be a four person girl band until Jesy Nelson left the band, and has now pursued a solo career.

The band initially rose to fame after they won The X Factor in 2011, becoming the first group to win it.

The four successfully auditioned as soloists for the popular singing show, before Simon Cowell put the four together, creating the band.

They are one of the UK’s biggest selling acts, and recently became one of the best selling girl groups of all time, surpassing more than 65 million records sold globally. In 2018, they were named by Forbes as one of the most influential acts of all time, and have a rumoured net worth of almost £67 million.

Still, as soon as 2021 the group made history when they became the first female group to win the Brit Award for British Group.

They are most known for songs such as ‘Power’ with British rapper Stormzy, ‘Secret Love Song’ with Jason Derulo and Black Magic.

Their song, ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ which was released around the time Edwards endured a very public split from ex-One Direction singer Zayn Malik, is their highest streamed song on Spotify, with 606 million streams.
