DJ and music producer Fatboy Slim is coming to Manchester next summer. The performer, whose real name is Norman Cook, will perform at the Castlefield Bowl as part of his ‘Loves Summer’ tour.
Active since the late 1970s, Fatboy Slim has played sold out shows around the world. His iconic sound has made him one of the most noticeable names and faces in world music, and he’s far from done. Turning 60 earlier this year, he’s got a jam packed 2024 summer planned.
Fatboy Slim will perform at the Castlefield Bowl on July 5. He is the latest addition to the venue’s ‘Sounds of the City’ schedule which sees some of the biggest names in music play at the outdoor venue.
The tour announcement follows the release of a 25th anniversary edition of his second album ‘You’ve Come A Long Way, Baby’ which was first released back in 1998. The re-release was in conjunction with National Album Day earlier this year.
Fatboy Slim will kick off the tour in Dublin at Fairview park before heading to Cornwall to perform at Eden Sessions. After the Castlefield Bowl gig he heads to Scarbrough, Glasgow and Galway amongst others.
