Manic Street Preachers have announced a Castlefield Bowl date as part of a joint UK tour in 2024. The band will be touring with Suede in a huge double headliner tour. 

The iconic Castlefield Bowl will host the Manchester date. Manic Street Preachers and Suede come to town on Friday July 12.

The gig will be one of 7 outdoor shows the two bands will play in the summer of 2024. Also on the tour are dates at Cardiff Castle, Edinburgh Castle and Alexandra Palace Park in London. 

Manic Street Preachers formed in Blackwood, Caerphilly in 1986. They have produced a number of top quality albums including ‘The Holy Bible’ and ‘Everything Must Go’. Their most recent album, titled ‘The Ultra Vivid Lament’, was released in 2021. 

Suede are a rock band formed in London back in 1989. They have released eight studio albums with the most recent, ‘Autofiction’ launched in 2022. The dual-headliner show is set to be one not to miss.

Tickets for Manic Street Preachers and Suede at Castlefield Bowl go on general sale at 9am on Friday October 13. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased by signing up to pre-sale options through the Gigs & Tours website.
