Bookings are now being taken for a new Manchester bar which combines having a drink with friends with playing an array of games including axe throwing and shuffleboard.

The Boom Battle Bar is taking shape in the Printworks in Manchester city centre ahead of its opening in mid-June.

The team behind the venture at the leisure and nightlife hub in the city centre is promising an evening out full of competitive games and challenges along with drinks and food.

When is Boom Battle Bar opening and how can I book to go?

Boom Battle Bar is officially opening its doors to the public on 17 June.

However, bookings are now being taken if people want to secure their spot in the 10,000 sq ft premises in the Printworks.

What can you do at Boom Battle Bar?

The team behind Boom Battle Bar says the idea is to bring competitive gaming, both in traditional and modern high-tech forms, together with the food and drink you would expect at a bar or eatery.

lt features augmented reality darts booths, axe throwing lanes, beer pong tables, American pool, karaoke booths, shuffleboards and arcade games.

If you’ve worked up a bit of an appetite after all that the menu features street-food style dishes like chicken tenders and nachos.

And the bar will be serving up wines, spirits, draught beers and themed cocktails.

Boom Battle Bar CEO Richard Harpham said: “We’re delighted to be opening bookings for our epic new Manchester venue.
