Thoughts are quickly turning towards the January transfer window as Erik ten Hag looks to take the next step in his development of the Manchester United squad.
The former Ajax manager enjoyed a productive first summer in charge at Old Trafford after the likes of Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia and Antony all joined the Red Devils. Of course, the upcoming window is being somewhat overshadowed by the uncertainty surrounding the club’s ownership situation, with the Glazer family now reportedly ready to consider bringing a close to their controverisal reign.
But despite off-field distractions, Ten Hag will be keen to continue building on the solid start he has made to his time in the dugout at Old Trafford and will hope to have the support from those above over the next six weeks.
