Xavi teases Manchester United interest after 'holding' talks to replace Ten Hag
Man Utd have reportedly held talks with the former Barcelona manager about potentially replacing Erik ten Hag.
Xavi doesn't appear to be hiding away from the reports linking him with a move to Manchester United after his wife shared a picture of him and his son with the youngster wearing a United kit.
The Spain legend is still without a club after leaving Barcelona at the end of last season and has reportedly already held talks with United about a possible future managerial role.
The Daily Mail revealed last week that Xavi had emerged as a potential target for United if the club decide to sack manager Erik ten Hag, and that intermediaries have made contact with the former Barcelona star twice in the last few months.
It is understood a four-man delegation led by chief executive Omar Berrada flew out to Barcelona earlier in the month, though United sources say a number of meetings have taken place in Barcelona recently because co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been there for the America's Cup.

Taking to social media on Sunday, Xavi's wife uploaded a picture of her husband and child filling in a card book, with the youngster wearing last season's United shirt. Although it might be sheer coincidence, the timing of the post has further fuelled the suggestion he could be the new favourite to takeover at Old Trafford should they make the change, as well as some affection towards the club.
Thomas Tuchel was the previous frontrunner for the job before he was appointed by England, while Ineos favourite Gareth Southgate has ruled himself out of taking any job for the next twelve months.
