According to an update from L’Interista, the Red Devils are preparing an offer in the region of around £25.8 million for the 26-year-old.
If transfer guru Fabrizio Romano is to be believed, however, United may have to up their valuation of the player if Inter are to be convinced into making a sale.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, he said: “Dumfries, he’s a player that Ten Hag knows so well, but at the same time, [it] is not something that at the moment is being negotiated between the clubs. For sure, Inter want £30.2m and £34.5m for Dumfries.”
