Six Manchester United players who were left out in Melbourne Victory win

Not every Manchester United player got minutes in Australia.

Manchester United beat Melbourne Victory 4-1 today with goals from Scott McTominay, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and an own goal by Edmond Lupancu.

The game against the A-League was another opportunity for new boss Erik ten Hag to take another look at his newly inherited squad.

Martial, Harry Maguire and Tom Heaton were among the players he opted to start with, whilst new signing Tyrell Malacia had a run out too.

Youngsters Amad Diallo, Ethan Laird and Tahith Chong, who spent last season out on loan at Rangers, Swansea City and Birmingham City respectively, came off the bench.

Charlie Savage and Zidane Iqbal were also brought on to get some valuable experience under their belts.

However, Ten Hag wasn’t able to bring on all his substitutes and six players were left on the bench in the end. Here are the ones who weren’t able to get on the pitch today in Australia.
