The confirmed Man Utd starting line up and team news as they face Leicester City in the Carabao Cup.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has named his first Manchester United starting line up ahead of their clash with Leicester City in the Carabao Cup.

The interim head coach has made four changes to the starting line up from Erik ten Hag’s final match in charge against West Ham, with Altay Bayindir handed only his third ever start in goal. The Turkish goalkeeper has only previously featured against Newport County in the FA Cup and Barnsley in the previous round of the Carabao Cup.

Victor Lindelof comes in for Noussair Mazraoui in defence, though it is unclear whether it is he or Lisandro Martinez who has been repurposed to a full-back role.

Van Nistelrooy has named three players who are yet to make their competitive debut for the club in his first matchday squad, with Harry Amass, Jayce Fitzgerald and Jack Fletcher all on the bench. Ethan Wheatley has also been included.

Subs: Heaton, Amass, Evans, Mazraoui, Fitzgerald, J.Fletcher, Amad, Højlund, Wheatley.
