Man Utd defeated Bodo/Glimt 3-2 in the Europa League on Thursday night thanks to a brace from Rasmus Hojlund.

Ruben Amorim piled the praise on Rasmus Hojlund but warned the Manchester United striker must take fewer touches on the ball if he is to take his game to the next level.

The Danish forward stole the show as he netted a brace in their 3-2 comeback win over Bodo/Glimt on Thursday night to give Amorim his first victory as head coach. As well as his two well-taken goals, Hojlund also played a pivotal role in the opening goal of the match when he closed down goalkeeper Nikita Khaikin within the first minute of the match and forced him to gift the ball to Alejandro Garnacho for a tap-in.

It was a hugely impressive overall performance by Hojlund after what had been a difficult start to the season and after the win, Amorim offered his verdict on the forward, as well as some advice on how he can get even better in the weeks ahead.

"I think he improved the connection," the head coach told reporters after the win. "He has to improve more because sometimes he gives too many touches when he holds the ball but very important when we are in a low block, he is the guy who connects in the transitions. For the goals he was aggressive in the box and he is a quality player. He scores the most difficult goals. He did a great job today."
