Man Utd have named their starting line up to face Newcastle United in the Premier League.

Manchester United have made four changes to their starting line up against Newcastle in the Premier League on Monday night.

Ruben Amorim hopes to see his side put an end to their three match losing run and has recalled Matthijs de Ligt, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Joshua Zirkzee to the side from the start. Lisandro Martinez has been named captain for the night with Bruno Fernandes suspended.

Casemiro and Christian Eriksen start together in central midfield amid the absence of both Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte, while Andre Onana keeps his place in goal despite a poor performance against Wolves last week.

Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui at the two choices at wing-back, with Harry Maguire keeping his place in the heart of the three-man United defence. The main headline is that Marcus Rashford is back on the bench after a four-match absence, and speaking ahead of kick-off Amorim explained why he has been recalled: “Selection,” he told Sky Sports. "We have a lot of players outside [the team]. "Every week I choose my players and this time he is here."

Rashford has not played for United since the Europa League victory over Viktoria Plzen earlier in the month and recently revealed he was ‘ready for a new challenge’ in his career. Academy defender Godwill Kukonki has also been named on the bench in the absence of Jonny Evans.

United XI: Onana; De Ligt, Maguire, Martinez (c); Mazroaui, Casemiro, Eriksen, Dalot; Amad, Zirkzee, Hojlund.

Subs: Bayindir, Malacia, Yoro, Kukonki, Mainoo, Collyer, Antony, Rashford, Garnacho.
