Man Utd face Everton in the Premier League this weekend and there could be a few changes.

Ruben Amorim admits Diogo Dalot is better suited to a role on the righthand side of the Manchester United line up and says they are planning to play him there in the upcoming matches.

The Portuguese full-back has played the most minutes of any United player so far this season and is the only player to have featured in all 20 of their matches this campaign, though he started on the bench as they defeated Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Amorim had hoped to give Dalot a rest after his extensive run in the team, but he was required from the bench at half-time when he replaced the struggling Tyrell Malacia at left wing-back. Dalot once again impressed with his work rate in the unfamiliar role though he was guilty of making the wrong decisions in the final third and conceding possession cheaply on a number of occasions.

The new United head coach has been impressed by his compatriot so far but admits he can be even better if he is played on his favoured flank. "He’s very powerful. We have to rotate him sometimes because he looks like he is always fresh but he’s not like that. He’s not a machine," Amorim told reporters ahead of the weekend clash with Everton.

"I think he plays better on the right and we will manage to put him also on the right. He’s a very good player, very powerful and can play both sides. Nowadays, a player that can play both sides … it’s perfect, because you can put him in different positions. I expect the same (from him) as you saw in the past year - a great player that can help the team and is really a team player. He lives the game."
