Speaking to ManchesterWorld on behalf of MyBettingSites, the ex-United defender said: “If they [United] give him what he needs to attempt to win a Premier League title then I would go with someone like Pochettino.
“He’s a disciplinarian. He’s not allowed to do that at PSG - it’s impossible.
“Just for what he did at Spurs too - playing at Wembley, qualifying for the Champions League, getting to the Champions League final and a semi-final of the FA Cup.
“He delivered under a lot of pressure.”

After winning 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League trophies under the Scotsman, the Red Devils are still waiting for victory in either competition nine years later.
Parker has claimed that United need to sort out the ‘chink in the armour’ if they are to finally achieve the success that fans have been waiting for.
“There’s been some big names that have had the job and everyone had a lot of money to spend but it just hasn’t worked out.

“It’s a chink in the armour that needs sorting out.”
Pochettino is currently the bookies’ favourite to become the next Manchester United manager, followed by Ajax’s Erik ten Hag.
