It’s been a quiet month for Manchester United in the transfer window, especially when it comes to incomings.

The Red Devils are yet to sign a player this month, but continue to be linked with multiple names.

Anthony Martial has departed for Sevilla on loan for the remainder of the season, but he might not be the only United star to leave Old Trafford during the winter window.

Less experienced players such as Teden Mengi, Ethan Laird, and Axel Tuanzebe will also spend the second half of the campaign elsewhere on loan.

With that being said, what’s the latest in terms of potential moves in and out of Old Trafford with only a few days remaining until the January window closes?

Incomings

The club have been linked with an array of talent, including Amadou Haidara, Boubacar Kamara and Ruben Neves, but a deal for any player is yet to materialise.

The Red Devils are said to be looking to bring in a midfielder this month, according to reports, but with no confirmed bids for any targets reported as late, it’s looking less likely this will prevail.

Outgoings

What is looking more likely is the departure of more names under Rangnick, with Jesse Linagard, Donny van de Beek and Amad Diallo all rumoured to be leaving the club in the next few days.

The latter is ‘set’ to join Rangers on loan for the remainder of the season, according to Fabrizio Romano, and Diallo will be hoping his move to Scotland will earn him more game-time.

Lingard’s future at United is an interesting one, with sources claiming his switch to Newcastle United could be set to collapse.

Dutch midfielder Van de Beek is being linked with a loan move to Crystal Palace during the winter window. The Mail claims the London outfit are ‘hopeful’ of signing the 24-year-old before the deadline on Monday.

What has Ralf Rangnick said about transfers?

However, the only update given directly from Rangnick regarding outgoings at Old Trafford was after their 1-0 win over West Ham on Saturday, when he said: “I don’t know.

“I know which players would want to leave, and I know there are negotiations with clubs. But, as I’ve said, I’m not involved with that.

“I will probably be posted and aware of things that are happening, but in the end we will all have to wait and see what will happen.”

In addition, there are several players who could leave for free this summer, with Lingard, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Lee Grant, Edinson Cavani and Tahith Chong all out of contract at the end of June.
