Roy Keane insisted he would have been 'fuming' with Rasmus Hojlund had the striker been so wasteful in front of goal during his spell at Man Utd.

Hide AdHojlund missed three excellent chances in the first-half of United's FA Cup third round clash at Wigan Athletic. The 20-year-old saw his opening effort hit straight at Latics goalkeeper Sam Tickle before sending a header over and a rebounded effort wide from close-range.
United did go into half-time at the DW Stadium 1-0 up thanks to Diogo Dalot, and pundits Ian Wright and Roberto Martinez highlighted what they believed was misfortune regarding Hojlund. But Keane was having none of it.
“You're too kind, you're too kind. I'd be fuming with him,” Keane told ITV Sport. “We wanted United to show a [different] side of their game tonight. They've brought their habits from the Premier League into tonight in terms of missing chances and not being clinical. I wanted to see that side of United tonight.

That poor finishing has been characteristic of Hojlund's start to life at United, following his £72million from Atalanta over the summer. The Danish international scored his first Premier League goal against Aston Villa last month, his 15th appearance in the competition.
Hojlund has not been helped by a lack of chance creation from those around him but the young striker has also been guilty of missing golden opportunities when they have come his way. It was a stark contrast to his Champions League exploits which produced give goals in six games.
Goals have been a wider issue at United ever since Erik ten Hag took over in 2022. This season, they have managed just 22 in the Premier League which is better than only Sheffield United and Burnley.
