Tottenham 'medical booked' and another deal at 'advanced stage' ahead of Man Utd clash
Tottenham Hotspur could have two new players by the time they head to Manchester United for a huge Premier League clash this weekend.
Ange Postecoglou's side will look to continue their push for a Champions League place when they arrive in Manchester on Sunday, January 14. It will be the first Premier League game of 2024 for both.

Firstly, Sky Sports reports that they are set to sign Timo Werner on loan from RB Leipzig after agreeing a £15.5million permanent option which will become active in the summer. The 27-year-old, who was also of interest to United this month, is set for a medical in the coming days.
And Tottenham are also closing in on a new centre-back with Fabrizio Romano reporting that talks are progressing with Genoa for Radu Drăgușin. The Serie A side are thought to want around £26million for their defender.
United had been linked with both Werner and Drăgușin at different points over the past 12 months, thanks in part to the need of Erik ten Hag to strengthen in central defence and attacking areas. Three of the club's five defenders have hit 30 and the Dutchman is keen to lower the age profile in that area.

Either player must be registered as a Tottenham squad member before 12pm Friday in order to be available for selection at Old Trafford this weekend. Postecoglou will hope to have Werner especially, given he has recently lost top-scorer Heung-Min Son to the Asia Cup.
United go into the game in eighth place, eight points away from Tottenham in fifth and nine from the Champions League places.
