Manchester United’s staggering 2021/22 £88m squad value decrease compared to Man City and Arsenal

Manchester United have endured one of the most difficult seasons in their history, despite having a number of very expensive players with very high salaries.

The Red Devils spent over £250 million on the likes of Harry Maguire, Paul Pogba and Jadon Sancho, however the team’s disappointing campaign has seen their squad market value dramatically decrease.

While Manchester City’s squad market value looks a lot healthier than their local rival’s, they have also seen theirs drop - perhaps because of the lacklustre season their £100 million signing Jack Grealish has had.
