Manchester United’s intriguing predicted Premier League final place finish compared to Arsenal, Tottenham, and West Ham

The Reds could be facing an uphill battle for Champions League football next season.

Manchester United dropped more points in their bid to secure a top four finish on Tuesday evening, with Ralf Rangnick’s men having to settle for a 1-1 draw against Burnley at Turf Moor.

The Reds had taken the lead through an early Paul Pogba strike, but some impressive link up play between Wout Weghorst and Jay Rodriguez was enough to unlock the visitors’ defence for a second-half equaliser.

In terms of what the result means for United’s top four hopes, they are still within touching distance of fourth-placed West Ham, but Tottenham, Arsenal, and even Wolves all hold multiple games in hand on Rangnick’s side.

But how will things stand come the end of the season in May?

We took a look at the work of stats experts FiveThirtyEight to see how their meticulously-researched predicted Premier League table is expected to finish.
