Manchester United will eye wholesale exits as they look to overhaul their squad in the summer transfer window. Ruben Amorim is keen to rebuild the first-team squad in his image and knows player sales will be crucial to raise transfer funds and address their tight financial situation.
United know qualification for the Champions League will ease those financial concerns and reduce how many players they need to sell, though as many as 10 senior stars could still leave the club even if they win the Europa League. The sale of an academy graduate would provide the greatest financial boost because it would count as pure profit and at least one is expected to be sold this summer.
Another four players are set to depart as free agents at the end of the season when their respective deals expire, and here is a look at the 12 players most likely to leave the club.

9. Alejandro Garnacho
Garnacho responded well to being dropped by Amorim and has become a regular in the starting line up again. He has performed poorly in recent months, though, and does not look to be the perfect fit for the new tactical approach. 10. Christian Eriksen
Amorim insists a final decision has not been made on Eriksen yet but the veteran midfielder is expected to leave the club at the end of the season. The Denmark international has played a reduced role for United this season and has been done no favours by the recent tactical change. | Getty Images

11. Victor Lindelof
Lindelof is another player expected to leave United as a free agent once his contract expires at the end of the season. Amorim has refused to confirm his imminent departure, but it is highly unlikely he will be offered fresh terms and the player wants greater playing time than he has had this season. | Manchester United via Getty Images

12. Jonny Evans
United were right to offer Evans a one-year contract extension after his heroics last season, but they would be foolish to offer him another this time around.
