Manchester United will eye wholesale exits as they look to overhaul their squad in the summer transfer window. Ruben Amorim is keen to rebuild the first-team squad in his image and knows player sales will be crucial to raise transfer funds and address their tight financial situation.
United know qualification for the Champions League will ease those financial concerns and reduce how many players they need to sell, though as many as 10 senior stars could still leave the club even if they win the Europa League. The sale of an academy graduate would provide the greatest financial boost because it would count as pure profit and at least one is expected to be sold this summer.
Another four players are set to depart as free agents at the end of the season when their respective deals expire, and here is a look at the 12 players most likely to leave the club.

13. Tom Heaton
Heaton is another player who could consider retirement when his United contract expires at the end of the season. The 38-year-old has only made three competitive appearances for the club and Amorim is likely to want to replace him with a younger third-choice goalkeeper this summer. | Manchester United via Getty Images
