Manchester United will eye wholesale exits as they look to overhaul their squad in the summer transfer window. Ruben Amorim is keen to rebuild the first-team squad in his image and knows player sales will be crucial to raise transfer funds and address their tight financial situation.
United know qualification for the Champions League will ease those financial concerns and reduce how many players they need to sell, though as many as 10 senior stars could still leave the club even if they win the Europa League. The sale of an academy graduate would provide the greatest financial boost because it would count as pure profit and at least one is expected to be sold this summer.
Another four players are set to depart as free agents at the end of the season when their respective deals expire, and here is a look at the 12 players most likely to leave the club.

5. Casemiro
United could significantly ease their financial situation if they sell Casemiro this summer, but it is far easier said than done. The Brazilian earns a staggering £ 350,000 per week and few teams would be able to match those demands. 6. Altay Bayindir
Ruben Amorim would like to overhaul the goalkeeper department and it could mean Bayindir leaves the club at the end of the season. 7. Tyrell Malacia
Malacia joined PSV Eindhoven on loan in the January transfer window and will be allowed to leave permanently at the end of the season. 8. Kobbie Mainoo
United want to keep Mainoo at the club and are in talks over an improved contract. There is hope that an agreement can be reached, but if there is no progress by the summer, then they might need to consider their options. The key factor will be whether Amorim views the midfielder as a key part of the squad going forward, or whether he would prefer to cash-in and invest the money elsewhere. | Manchester United via Getty Images
