The confirmed team news as Man Utd face Bournemouth in the Premier League this weekend.

Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has been ruled out for several weeks in the latest injury blow to head coach Ruben Amorim.

Mount suffered his latest setback during the first half of United's dramatic derby win over Man City last weekend and subsequently missed out on a place in their matchday squad against Tottenham in midweek.

Amorim had initially ruled the 25-year-old out of the Carabao Cup match, though there was no further indication of the severity of his injury issue before the clash. Mount is still awaiting further assessment to discover the severity of his issue but United are not expecting him to return to action until January at the earliest.

United sources reiterated there was no further update on Mount's situation and that he is set for further assessment before further clarity can be issued on the extent of his muscle injury. Asked how long the midfielder might be out for, Amorim told reporters: "Several weeks. I don't know the exact date but it is going to be for long. That is it. It is part of football and we will continue."

Marcus Rashford is another player who missed the Tottenham clash, with Amorim adamant he only missed out due to 'selection' reasons rather than any disciplinary matter.

There will be plenty of intrigue around his potential role against Bournemouth this weekend and the United head coach says it is the same situation heading into Sunday's clash. Asked if Rashford could be involved, he added: "Yes of course. It is the same thing. It will be the same thing."
