Man Utd face Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League on Thursday night and this is what their squad could look like.

Ruben Amorim could be without just three senior players when he takes charge of his first Manchester United home match against Bodo/Glimt tonight.

Lisandro Martinez is poised to return to the United squad for the clash, though Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro have both been ruled out by the new head coach. Victor Lindelof is also expected to miss out after he missed team training yesterday.

With the three likely absentees all in central defence, Godwill Kukonki could once again travel to the match as precautionary cover, but he is unlikely to be named on the bench unless there are any late setbacks. The 16-year-old travelled to Portman Road at the weekend but did not make the final matchday squad and trained with the first-team again on Wednesday morning.

Amorim could make a few changes from his first match in charge, with Luke Shaw, Manuel Ugarte and Rasmus Hojlund all leading the way to come into the starting line up.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the head coach emphasised the importance of rotating his team amid the packed fixture schedule. "We have to do it. We have to do it, especially in this moment because we have a lot of games, they have to feel they are part of the team, they are international players, they will rotate, we have to try and win every game, have a clear idea of how to play and every body has to be on the same page."

United's possible 23-man squad:

Goalkeepers: Onana, Bayindir, Heaton

Defenders: Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez, Malacia, Dalot, Shaw, Evans, Kukonki*

Midfielders: Mount, Fernandes, Eriksen, Casemiro, Ugarte, Mainoo

Forwards: Hojlund, Rashford, Zirkzee, Amad, Garnacho, Antony
