Ruben Amorim has hailed Leny Yoro as a ‘great talent’ but warned Manchester United will take their time before he is eventually eased back into action.
Yoro missed United training on Wednesday morning ahead of their Europa League tie against Bodo/Glimt for a pre-designated recovery day and will not be available for the match on Thursday night.

Yoro never featured in a competitive match under former manager Erik ten Hag after he fractured his metatarsal during a pre-season clash with Arsenal.
United invested £52 million when they signed Yoro from Lille in the summer and Amorim is certain the centre-back will have a bright future at the club. “He is available to train but we are working on his fitness,” he told reporters on Wednesday. “He is a young guy, this is a massive club, it is very important his first image, we are trying to prepare the first way. He is a great talent and we believe in him.”
When pushed on the team news for the match, Amorim confirmed Lisandro Martinez would be in contention for the clash but Harry Maguire is still not ready after his recent injury setback. The United head coach added: “Not Harry, Licha is ready, he didn’t stop too much time so I felt that he is ready. The different situation with Harry, we need them both. They are both training, Very soon will be on the pitch.”
