Manchester United are still searching for a return to winning ways after drawing their first game back from the international break over the weekend.

Ralf Rangnick’s side drew 1-1 with Leicester City thanks to a swift Fred equaliser, and they remain very much outsiders in the race for the top four.

United are in action against Everton this weekend, and they cannot afford to slip up if they want to remain in the hunt for Champions League football.

But as we wait for the next matchday to roll around, we have rounded up all the latest transfer rumours.

Araujo chase over?

United have been heavily linked with a move for Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo ahead of this summer.

But of there was any interest in the Uruguayan centre-back, it seems it has now been ended.

That’s because Sport, and a number of others are reporting that an agreement of sorts has been reached between Barca and Araujo over a new contract.

There are still final details to be worked out, but it seems the defender is going nowhere this summer.

Milinkovic-Savic opportunity

United have also been linked with a move for Lazio star Sergej Milinković-Savić, who is in demand ahead of this summer.

In a report from Corriere dello Sport via Sport Witness, the Red Devils are named as potential suitors, with Juventus also keen on a move.

And it’s also reported that the midfielder is increasingly likely to be on the move, keen to make a step up this summer.

Osimhen interest

Napoli star Victor Osimhen continues to be linked despite a reported £100million price tag ahead of this summer.

And journalist Antonio Giordano has claimed via Sport Witness that the Red Devils are indeed in the mix for the forward.

He said: “Osimhen is followed by half the world and it is true that Newcastle showed 100 million in January, but in my opinion, if the English club returns, the Nigerian will not go,” he said.

“Meanwhile, Arsenal never stopped following him and, surprisingly, Manchester United. In the personal imagination of a 23-year-old player, United are a temptation and if the Red Devils reach certain figures, history teaches us those certain operations must be done.

“Otherwise, you find yourself as in the case of Allan, who was about to go to PSG and never went there. At certain figures it is madness not to sell.”
