Top clubs monitoring Tchouameni

United are one of a number of clubs in the running to sign highly rated Monaco youngster Aurelien Tchouameni, according to RMC Sport.

They claim the midfielder is a target for several of Europe’s top sides, including Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, Barcelona, Juventus and United.

Marca also report United are leading the race along with Chelsea, while Real are keen to sign the Frenchman who is valued at between €80-€100.

However, any deal for Tchouameni would likely have to wait until the summer.

United ‘make contact’ with Kamara’s agent

Boubacar Kamara was heavily linked with a move to United at the start of the week, and Marca claim the Red Devils are in pole position to sign the midfielder, with Atletico Madrid also interested.

The report says Atleti have offered €5m plus bonuses for the youngster who is out of contract next summer, but that bid has fallen short of Marseille’s asking price.

Meanwhile, L’Equipe state United are one of a handful of sides monitoring Kamara’s situation, along with Bayern Munich, although the Red Devils are again believed to have the upper hand in the transfer battle.

The French outlet also report both United and Atletico Madrid have been in contact with Kamara’s agent this weekend.

Romano’s Van de Beek latest

Donny van de Beek’s name has been regularly linked with a loan move away from Old Trafford before Monday’s deadline.

Reports on Saturday had suggested Crystal Palace had agreed to United’s loan terms, but they were set to be rivalled by two unnamed clubs.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano provided some clarity on the situation by tweeting that Everton are now in the running to take Van de Beek temporarily to Goodison Park.

He claimed that Frank Lampard, who it is widely reportedly will be appointed Everton’s new manager, wants to add the United midfielder to his ranks, with Palace still in the race but Valencia have dropped out.

Bailly going nowhere

Along with Van de Beek, several United players continue to be linked with moves away from the club.

Jesse Lingard is a name that has continuously been mentioned, as have the likes of Dean Henderson, Juan Mata and Eric Bailly.

However, the latter is reportedly set to remain at Old Trafford until the end of the season, despite having limited game time under interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

Journalist Jonathan Shrager tweeted on Friday to reveal he understands Bailly will not be leaving the club on loan before the deadline.
