Donny van de Beek is inching closer to a loan move away from Manchester United, according to reports.
The midfielder’s future has been one of the biggest talking points during the current January transfer window, with interim manager Ralf Rangnick even admitting he understands the player’s need for regular first-team football in a World Cup year.

The 24-year-old has played just 14 times this season, with only four of those being starts, and none coming in the Premier League. It’s for that reason Van de Beek is so keen to look for minutes elsewhere.
Reports this week indicate that Crystal Palace and Valencia have made loan offers for United’s No.34, with the former supposedly progressing well in the negotiations.
In fact, the Manchester Evening News claimed on Saturday that the Eagles have provisionally agreed to United’s loan terms, which will include covering his wages and a potential fee.

Therefore, a deal is expected to be concluded before Monday’s 11pm transfer deadline.
The report also states Van de Beek was offered to Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund earlier this week.
The former Ajax man isn’t the only United midfielder who could leave on loan before the end of the month. Jesse Lingard has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, and with his contract at the club set to expire next summer, would essentially end his 21-year association with the Red Devils.
The 29-year-old is a target for Newcastle United and West Ham United in the final days on the window.
